Chioma Agwuegbo is the Program Manager of Rebooth for the West African office where she leads projects that bring together media, civil society, communities and government to advance social justice. Chioma has led a team providing bespoke communication and social media strategies for individuals, small businesses, governments and international clients. She has also produced two seasons of the award-winning radio series, ‘Story Story’, with the BBC World Service Trust (now Media Action) which uses drama to spark discussion on civic issues. She is also the founder of TechHer, a community of learning, support and collaboration for women in technology.Chioma is a writer and a political and social commentator whose work appears in Foresight for Development, Huffington Post and Nigeria’s foremost online paper, Premium Times. She’s passionate about governance having worked with a team to monitor the 2011 and 2015 Nigeria general elections using software to track progress and incidence of violence. Chioma is a world Economic Forum Global Shaper and serves as the Deputy Curator of the Abuja Hub. Chioma has a Master’s degree in social media from Birmingham City University and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. She adores MOOC’s and new opportunities to learn.She enjoys travels and trawling through Wikipedia for articles on Greek mythology and historical dynasties, and she never says no to an offer to dance.
